This is my friend Doug Mathis. I'm sure a lot of you know him. I just wanted to let everyone know that he was pulled up by the Texas Rangers and started a couple of games. I meant to post this a while ago, but I couldn't ever find a picture of him. Anyway, he is on the engured list now...but I just wanted to express how HAPPY I was for Doug. Way to go after your dreams!

Hey, first that is a really cute family photo. I have got to get on it and get some photos of my family.
That is so cool about Doug. He was the coolest, most laid back guy ever. If anyone deserves this he does. Keep us updated on him.
oh, our dear Doug. Remember we were seriously his BIGGEST fans? I remember his college games and everything. I am SO proud of him for sticking with it.
Remember when you, me, Doug, and Rustin Genet would hit at the baseball feild. Rustin would purposely hit me and you being a dear friend would proudly say "Get outta here" as if I really hit far. We had some fun, fun times:)
I read about him in the newspaper. That's so cool you were friends with him. Hopefully he gets over his "engury" and kicks butt.

OH Tara, first of all, I am dying about what your friend Kristen said. Im really glad I didn't have to be the one to point out your amazing spelling capabilities. You are too funny. Anywho...isn't that crazy about Douglas? Who woulda thought? You know I didnt' even really know he was that good at Baseball till after he graduated. Some great little freshmen "friend" I was huh? He is such an awesome guy, and Im sure will do really well.Do you still talk with him?
Taralee, I had heard that from my dad. I always thought Doug was such a cool kid. He was so fun and nice...I am so proud of him for the accomplishments he has made. Gooooo DOUG!!!
