What a weekend...

We had a wonderful time in Arizona for the Turkey-day weekend! We drove all night on Wednesday and made it there just in time to go to the Tenney Breakfast at the Ranch. (AMANDA...I'm so sad that Madden was sick and that I didn't get to see you.) After that we headed to my glorious home town of Show Low! My mom fixed the bestest best Turkey dinner I've EVER had. It was delicious. We also figured out who the real pig is...it's RUSTIN! We had SO many leftovers....so I figured it was because Rustin wasn't there. (ha ha...it's ok to laugh!) It was so good to spend time with my mom and dad, Danica and Cody, and Ryan. I am pretty much a professional Wii Bowling...that's right...don't mess! We also got to spend some time in Hell...I mean Holbrook. Anyway...here are a few pictures from the couple of days we got to spend with my side.

Now onto the Heber Adventure...We got over there on Saturday morning...just in time to watch the BYU vs. UTAH game! Porter's get crazy when it comes to their football! It was fun to watch it with them...plus it was a good game. We also got to go to Jared's farewell. Him and Laren gave such good talks. He's going to be a great missionary...but we'll miss him. Anyway...

We really enjoyed our time in AZ and made us miss being so close to our family! We love you all and thank you for everything. We hope to visit soon!!

Our fun adventure...

We went on a fun family drive on Saturday to see some pretty places, but it ends up that Wyoming isn't very pretty....it's down right ugly and boring...well, if you like trailor parks and fireworks it would be tons of fun. These are the only "fun" picture that we got...

Here is this weeks "Blast from the past!"
This is me and some of my old roomies. Caroline, Amanda, Roby-Rob, and me. Oh and notice my SA-WEET yellow chair! We had fun...lots of fun...too much fun to write about. OH lass...the memories... Oh and here is Trace in his overalls, cuddled up with his doggy and a gun! Not much more a little boy could want! What a little hill-billy! A cute hill-billy at that!

Why babies are at least 9 months apart

The other night I had the opportunity to watch Savannah. Let me just say...I now know why God made babies at least 9 months apart! Savannah was a little angle, if you look closely you can see a halo over her head. BUT if you look close at Brody's head and I'm pretty sure you can see little horns coming out! ha ha.
This was after I attempted to bathe them, right before bed time. They were watching "Little Einstein"...they were really into it! When I was trying to take these pictures Savannah would move her head around so she could still see the TV. It was so funny.

Our kids are really REALLY cute and fun...I sure love them.

Blast from the Past!

I've decided to a weekly "Blast from the Past" picture.

This weeks featured picture is of Trace and I think Devon...maybe Laron, maybe Reed, maybe Beau...or maybe Spencer. (They pretty much all look the same to me.) I just love the picture of Trace though. Such a cute little bugger!

Seeing this picture reminds me of a story Trace once told me....

I think he was 3 or 4 years old. The movie "Jaws" had just come out. Trace and all his brothers and sisters were swimming in a creek or some waterhole or something. Trace ended up falling in the water and he was kicking and paddling with all his might. Heather ended saving him and pulling him out of the water. When he came out he said, "If der were a shawrk in der, I'd be dead!" (Of course with a little 3 year old speech impediment!)

Anyway, I probably told the story wrong, but I thought it was funny!

4 month pictures

Brody was SO happy when I got home from work today. I thought, "Hey...today would be a great day to take some cute pictures of my smiley baby." So I take him out into the park, where there are quite a few people around, and start taking pictures. Do you think he would smile for me....um NO! I'm sure most of you can picture me looking like a complete idiot saying, "Come on, give momma a smile." "Brooooooooody, YO! Brodster...Ca-Ca-CA-CA...look up here! SMILE!" (All of which were in a really high annoying "mom" voice and I repeated each several times.) I eventually gave up- Plus, I think he still looks cute with this serious face.

Oh and did I mention that my kid is so photogenic?.....

Coming February 6, 2008!!!!

Dodge introduced the sweetest old new car yet!!!! The 2008 dodge challenger!!!! This has got to be the sweetest remake yet!! Oh yes, it beats the Ford Mustang. It beats the Dodge Charger the Chevy Camero the Pontiac GTO and all the others remakes. This is the car of this century so far. It has a Hemi 6.1. Gotta love it!!! This thing is super sweet.
