in pictures...

Valentines day...flower, cheesecake, and my mom....doesn't get much better than that. Dinosaur Museum with buddies.

Making PB&J all by himself. No need for a knife or spoon....or bread.Brody & Cole...cute, cute boys.
Celebrated Trace's big 27 with cake, Tucanos, and Super Bowl.

I keep thinking of something inspirational to write...but nothing seems to be coming to mind right now.

Oh- we did find out that we will be spending the summer in Pittsburg. I will graduate, have a new baby, and move to PA all within a month. CRAZY, yet SO exciting.

I also enjoyed spending time with my little sister, mom, and dad this past weekend. I always feel so blessed to have such a wonderful family. We did a lot of crafting and this and that. Visits are never long enough...that's for sure.

The Olympics are cool.

Ok...so nothing funny...sorry to dissappoint. I am very certain that this baby inside of me has robbed me of all my creativity juices and fluids.

valentine's schmalentines...

So there I was...it was the 14th of February. The typical day, well, besides the fact that I was in the company of my mom, sister, dad, and hubby...it was a typical day. We all went out for dinner and then I came home with this lovely arrangement on the table...SERIOUSLY??? FOR ME??? A dozen roses with chocolate covered strawberries....holy wow. I instantly run to my hubby and jump on his lap and give him a big kiss and said THANK YOU, THANK YOU! He gave a mysterious laugh...

The flowers and strawberries ended up being from Wendi, my bestie. They were beautiful.
My dad also got us girls some BIG daisys and roses. I loved them...flowers just have a way of making a girl feel special.

Oh the side of my husbands defense...I did get a little something something later on. AND he and my parents gave me a new camera for an early graduation present. So- he wasn't in the dog house...which explains the something something.

WAYSANY- I just wanted to throw some love out from the blog to all people in the blogger world. Besides...do you really need a specific day to make someone feel special? I think not.

sneaky, sneaky

As Trace was waking up this morning a certain little red-head came galloping in.
In one of his little hands he held two heart-shaped Reeses.
His other hand was behind his back.

He holds out his hand and says, "I share these ones with Poppi."
Trace says, "Oh thanks bud. What's in your other hand?"
Brody pulls his hand from out behind his back and opens it....another Reeses. Except this time he says, "This ones for me!"

Those two are one in the same.

*Just to let you know HOW Brody got the Reeses....
He goes downstairs, gets a bar stool and drags it over to the light switch. He climbs up, turns the light on, then back down. Then he scoots the bar stool all the way over to the pantry. He estimates where he thinks the candy will be and sets the stool there. Then he climbs up and takes a look around. He looks until he spots the red bag of Reeses Hearts. Then he climbs back down, moves the stool again, and then back up. He reaches his little paw into the bag and pulls out his hard earned treats.
Oh the love for Reeses...

rebel on a school night

Tonight is dinner and movie night:
Meet my dates...
Tyler, Jill, and you all know the goof-ball on the right.
This was taken right before the movie started and I was well-informed that I was in the way of the TV.
Dinner was a choice of cheese quesodilla or mac-n'-cheese.
We all had a little of both.
Dessert: little debbie heart cakes (for the kids). Cheesecake for me.
Maybe I'll get crazy and pop some popcorn. Who knows...the night is young! Here's to a funny kid's movie on a weekday.

in a few years...

Yes, definately in a couple of years...

me...

So a while ago I posted a few things that make me angry/annoyed/peeved.
Well- little do you all know- I'm not perfect.
I was thinking about how Trace never complains when I do stuff that annoys the crap out of him. The weird thing is that I usually KNOW that I am annoying him- yet I continue doing as I please.
Here's a list of a few things that I can think of:

1. I don't screw the lid on the toothpaste all the way on.
2. I have my bathroom/hair/make-up stuff spread through 2 bathrooms...3 on a good day.
3. I put my freezing tundra cold toes on his legs when we get into bed.
4. I interupt him when he's talking because I get too excited to say what I want to say.
5. I try on at least 2 different tops before I leave the house...and usually don't hang them up.
6. He tells me to bring down his glasses or socks from upstairs and I forget them about 95% of the time.
7. One of my pet peeves is leaving cabinet doors open...yet I do it all the time.
8. I leave my shoes by the doorways.
9. He can wait on me ALL day long...but when it comes time for me to wait on him-I get impatient in about 5 seconds (if that).
10. Fergie is my dog, but I always tell him to take HIS dog outside.
11. FIRST thing I do when I get home from anywhere is: PUT ON SWEATS.
12. I have to eat my bowl of cereal while watching a pointless TV show...it honestly doesn't matter what it is...I just like to sit down and eat my bowl of cereal and tune out for 30 minutes.
13. I make myself a snack...and when I sit down to eat it is when I usually think, "Hmm, I wonder if Trace would want one?" Then he usually says, "Thanks for making me one." (sarcastically ofcourse).
14. I like to sit on the couch with a blanket- even if it is summer.

I am pretty sure that list could go on and on. If it's not too late to make a New Year's resolution...mine would be to try being less annoying.
(BUT- I think it's too late for that...maybe next year!!)

I've become...

Ok, so I've become someone I didn't think I would.

I've become THAT person that doesn't update their blog.
What a bloody crime. But I can't take all the blame....here's my reasons to blame...(blaime, blaim, blayme?)
1. Student teaching. (a LOT more time consuming than I thought, yet, going very well.)
2. Company in town.
3. Motherly duties.
4. A new iPod. (those things take FOREVER to format)
5. A new fancy camera- Cannon Rebel Xsi. Yah- still trying to figure that baby out. Taking suggestions....NOW.
6. A two year old boy and an almost 27 year old man.
7. Household duties.

As for pictures...
He's cute. And he's getting big. And so am I. The baby is 1/2 way done. NICE.
Alrighty. As for updates. I'm not big on playing catch-up...therefore I'll try to just post my cool shtuff from now on as it happens. Trust me...there is usually never a dull moment.
