A real cowboy

While we were in Arizona I went with my family to the Taylor Rodeo. Brody sat on Gampa's lap the entire time and just watched the REAL cowboys. He was as quiet as I'd ever seen him...just watching those crazy boys on top of those horses. I didn't think he was really enjoying it, perhaps he was tired.
THEN, when it was all over and we buckled him in the car seat he went WILD.
"Towboys and WHOA"
"Tows and YEEEEEHAW"
"Towboy hats"
He attempted to say "rodeo" but it sounded more like "wo we wo we" (at least I think that's what he was trying to say).
Ever since then he's been OBSESSED with cowboys and his stick horse....in which he names "Charlie".
He rides Charlie everywhere. Up the stairs, down the stairs, around the table, through the kitchen, into the bathroom. LITerally, everywhere.
He shares his dinners with Charlie, gives him a bath, and makes him go potty. (I LOVE his imagination.)
Anyway...our little cowboy was lacking a real Cowboy Hat. Trace told him that if he went potty in the toilet then he would buy him a hat.
He did it.
Trace took him to the store today...

Brody loved it.

Your little "towboy" is too cute for words! I am lovin' it!!

My trip across the country (sreiously) was awesome. The train is great, surprisingly. I didn't realize people even rode trains, but they are packed. I missed my girls, but so glad I didn't take them. We would have all been miserable:)

You + me on a train= PRICELESS!!
That would be something neither one of us would forget. Honestly, we would have the best time. LETS DO IT!!!

PS (I miss you & my love has never wavered... haha)

That's the cutest cowboy I've seen since I fell for his Grandpa a LOOOONG time ago. Did you buy the boots too, or is that for next week's bribe?

I wuv it. I hear there is a rodeo coming up in a couple of weeks down here. You will have to bring him down to it so he can see the towboys and buckoff. He rode his turtle around the house and then would fall off and roll across the floor and say buck off buck off... He PAID attention at the rodeo!!!
