Rustin Oscar Reidhead
27 years of life....here's to the BIRTHDAY boy.
Remember when we worked together for non-stop hours at Torreon being the server, hostest, food runner, designer, table coordinator, event scheduler, party planner, flourist, janitor, wedding planner...ummm...what else is there? busser, pool beverage and food attendant, bar back, bartender (if only), and customer relations coordinators....oh and accountants. Those were the days huh? Loved it. Western night when you were the food runner and all the food was in the Breeze way and you were wearing your boots and your poor feet almost fell off...PLUS many more disasterous nights such as that one.
Remember when we lived in Vernon and would speed roller blade around the church parking lot? Oh and also played capture the flag with all the neighborhood kids. Oh and rode our bikes to the local grocery store/gas station/movie rental/post office/candy store/ice cream parlor on a daily basis.
Remember 4H and having to feed those dumb cows, pigs, and lambs in the wee hours of the mornings? And picking the weeds out of the garden? And watering the million some odd trees that dad planted around the yard. I recall letting the geese chase us around.
Remember how you would let me hang out with you and your friends in High School and you took me to lunch WAY more than I took Danica?
Remember when we worked at Island's together and we would secretly make fun of some of our co-workers...still do. It was hilarious. "Oh my knees." "Want to see my new dance move?" {laugh} No one understood our weird since of humor and had a hard time with ALL of our sarcasim. And how we could pretend argue with eachother...but we always had eachother's back.
Remember how we used to pick on Danica and she would get mad and chase us around with knives? Remember watching Saved by the Bell on Saturday mornings and Home Improvement on Wednesday nights?
Remember when we bought fanny packs for Christmas gifts...not knowing that we got the same thing for each other? Oh and we went snowboarding together and had a blast. I thought your legs were going to fall off the first run down...but you made it and were really good by the end of the day.
Remember when you lived in New York and I lived in Utah and we only saw each other once, if lucky, a year....yet our friendship seems to remain the same. You are a great older BROTHER. Thanks for everything. I hope you had a great, fun-filled BIRTHDAY...from the sounds of it, you did. Enjoy life in NY. Hopefully I'll get to come visit you someday.
LOVE YA broseph.

That's awesome you have so many great memories...I am sure you just named a few.
That's neat you were able to see Brindi..I'm sure she loved it!!
I am 14 1/2 weeks right now. We don't know what we're having yet, but either way we'll name him or her Caddy, but with a K of course. Why not...there's a Fisher and a Rugar.
and we are gonna name our next son yamaha yzx450
Happy Birthday to Rustin! I have not seen him in ages. Sounds like you two had lots of fun together!
And by the way...don't worry about at the game. I really didn't think anything of it. I know how those things can go so it's pretty hard to get offended you know! :)
Taralee: remember how I say your name and everybody thinks that I am saying Charlie? But thank you for these laughs! Working with you over the years were definitely some of the funnest times of my life. And man, that speed rollerblading...haha. Remember when we would keep going and see who could jump the farthest in rollerblades? And when your lamb would pull us down the street? OR when I had to tie my steer behind the truck and drag it along, only to have it ruin the fender? or the time when you and Brenda got lost in the hiking club and I was so scared for you guys? Or when we were clogging in the White Mountain 4-H cloggers in all those parades...and I yelled at you? I was such a jerk, and I'm glad that you got over it. And clogging at the Ranch and making that money. Do you remember when we would make suckers and sell them at school to make money? Or when I came home from my mission and you lost every single one of my sweaters? and oh, islands and torreon...how I miss those times! And I miss you being so far away, but I hope you're doing great! Also, I am still in search of the perfect jeans for you! I am running out of time!
and thanks for eating at texas roadhouse for me! :)
Oh and so do I have wonderful memories of working with the birthday boy. His clogging skills are impressive.
I do believe Jace enjoys all the Porter fellows. He's been known to have an "intense" reputation himself. He loves to shoot things and I love to shop...so it should work out beautifully. ;)
