DESTINATION: SCOUT FALLS
Last weekend we had another adventure out in the wild-lands of Utah. We took a little trip up the American Fork Canyon and hiked part of the Timpinogus Trail. It was so pretty and green up there. Brody looked so comfy. I only wish they made those for people my size...I'm sure Trace wouldn't mind packing me around. Wouldn't that be nice? Oh and we had to make some "adjustments" to Brody's little carrier backpack thing. We had to cut the leg holes to make them bigger so the Brodster's fat thighs could fit through. If you look close you can kind of see where we had to tear it and re-sew it. 
This is me on the 1.5 mile hike. (Just incase you couldn't tell it was me.)
Is this Scout Falls?....NOPE. Keep hiking. These little mini falls were everywhere.
Is THIS Scout Falls? Nope, just another small waterfall. Pretty little thang.

Finally, we reached our destination...
This is Scout Falls...well, half of it. It is on the cliff ledge so I couldn't get a really good picture of it.

I got a little crazy and daring and decided to climb down part of the cliff to get this picture. I only went a little ways down and then my rock climbing confidence wasn't so great. I should have brought my spelunking gear! ha ha. 
Ok, so maybe we went a little picture happy...just pretend you like it.
Trace put Brody up on the ledge and he made the funniest little faces. 
On the hike back down, Brody crashed. Again...I need to get me one of those little backpack things.
My mom and dad are coming up this weekend. (As in today!) Yahoo!
BYU football starts tomorrow 4 pm.
Oh and Trace and I both started school this last week at UVU. Maybe I'll finish my degree sometime this life time.

That sure looks like a beautiful hike. It even looks like Brody enjoyed it too. We are leaving as soon as mom gets home. The bags are packed. We can't wait to see that Brody kid. He has grown so much since July. Thanks for sharing your pictures. Dad
when you said brody crashed, i thought you meant he fell or something. haha Be careful with that kid! What a pretty hike that was. Beautiful family photo op. can't wait to see you guys!
