Funny little things.

So here are a couple interesting/funny things that happened in Flor-i-da.

On the beach...
Brody was running around with his little stumpy legs going as fast as they could carry him...trying to catch a SeaGull. He didn't have much luck. Two little old ladies who were basking in the sun really enjoy Mr. Brody the Entertainer. When we packed up to leave one of the ladies came running across the beach and said, "NO! Don't leave!" (With a southern drawl.) "If you guys leave, who is going to entertain us? He's the cutest drunk on the beach!" Trace and I thought that was funny.

In the car trying to find the beach...
Trace: "If we drive far enough we are bound to run into the beach."
Me: "Oh really...you sure about that?"
Trace: "Yep"
3 hours later....lost, turning around, driving in circles...NO BEACH.
Me: "hmmm"

Driving along side the ocean shore line and noticing two, shall I say "homeless looking guys" fishing...
Trace: "What do you think they are fishing for right here?"
Me: "From the looks of it...their dinner...or possibly a Cuban."

Getting ready to get on the "Log Ride" @ B.G...
Me: "Do you think we will get really wet? Cause I don't want to walk around in wet shoes."
Trace: "It probably won't be THAT bad."
5 minutes later....SQUISH, SQIUSH, SQUASH, SQUISH (the sound of my wet shoes walking away.)

On the way to the Aquarium (with the Tom-Tom guiding our every move):
Me (reading a sign): "The FLOR-I-DA Aquarium."
Trace: "WHERE?" (as he's looking around for the building.)
Me: "The sign says to keep going straight."
A little further...
Me: "The FLOR-I-DA Aquarium!"
Trace: "WHERE??!!" (again, looking around for the building.)
Me: "The sign says to turn left."
Trace: "Ok, well let's just follow the GPS."....in a sarcastic tone. "It will take us there. You just let me know when you see the ACTUAL building."

In the Airport during our 2 hour lay-over in DALLAS, TEXAS...
Brody pushed the luggage cart ALL around the airport. It kept him occupied for forever. He also tackled a tower of balloons. Oh and by using the ringtones on my phone, Brody put on a wild dance show. As we were loading the plane, this one black lady said, "Oh I just LOVED how he shaked his booty! That kids got some moves. He had me laughing the whole time."

Ok, that's enough for now.
