Sunshine Generation

If you guys guessed the cute little boy kneeling down in the 1st row (from the right)...you were right! Check out little cowboy trace....and Kandra...is that you?!

When I was going through baby pictures of Trace, low and behold, I came upon this picture. AND I COULD NOT STOP LAUGHING. The SUNSHINE GENERATION ROCKED the 1980's!!
This is an "I SPY TRACE GAME"....can anyone tell which one is him?...
Ok, so I wanted to be in the "Sunshine Generation" clan SO bad when I was younger. I think I have been deprived because I did not get to experience such a tremendous opportunity. Oh, and one more thing...my favorite person in this picture is the little red headed girl with her hands on her hips with a really fiesty look on her face. Her expression makes me wonder if I am actually glad I wasn't in the Sunshine Generation group.

Trace stands out like a star. Taralee, you were a clogger and a good one at that. You even made money clogging at The Ranch in Vernon and you clogged at the Navajo County Fair. You were good and oh so cute. That big pretty contagious smile of yours was great to watch. So Sunshine can Shine on Clogging Rocked!

Let's see the "...on grandma's feather bed.." video. "It was made from the feathers of fourty 'leven geese and soft as a downy chick."

OK, I THINK we have found Jared and I. From left to right, I am the second one in the first row. Jared is the sixth person in the second row. For some reason he looks like he is a foot tall--he must be leaning forward or something. Great times... "sneaky snake drinks root beer...."

Rustino, I believe it was "hold eight kids and four hound dogs" and the piggy. Keep it up, we'll have the whole song soon.

Is this just a Mormon thing? or I did I miss out on the Sunshine Gang for no reason. I have never even heard of this thing.

Rustino Scar said...

not really a mormon thing, but a bunch of kids did it when they were little. Pretty much a reason to get together and sing. I "missed out" on it too. I guess we turned out more normal than all of those other kids. "...piggy we stole from the shed..."
