U-goo-ga-lizer

OBITUARY:

Mr. Chi Straightener Porter
May 2005 to April 2008

You were a great friend. You smoothed out my days when they were rough and frizzy. You were my companion on all my road trips, you fit perfectly in your little traveling carry case. Your cord never got tangled and you heated up to an extremely crazy high temperature in just a matter of seconds. When I needed a quick fix, you were there. For THREE long years you were there for me. I am sad to see you go...but mostly my frizzy, curly, gnarly hair is sad you decided to part ways, kick the bucket, and push up some daisys.
Thanks for the good times....my good compadre. You will be missed.

AKA...My freakin straightener broke!!!

A eugoogalizor... one who speaks at funerals. Or did you think I'd be too stupid to know what a eugoogoly was? =)
Man that sucks that it broke. THose things aren't cheap. Are you going to get a new one? I love Chi's!

From one curly hair chic to another....I feel your pain. Caitlin just introduced me to my Chi straightner (got a steal on ebay)a little late don't you think? Good luck on your search for a replacment. BTW, I loved the embarrassing story from '99. I too could share some embarrassment from that time era probably in the same parking lot/fence area but I won't. Maybe someday. Stay tuned for that.

OH NO!! I feel your pain 100% because MY straightener just broke too!! Ok, but it wasn't a Chi, so maybe just 82%. That is one sad day.

Tara,
I can understand why you had to have a funeral service for your straightner, those things aren't cheap, but we can't be with out them. I am with Jes, I had a good one, it broke, got a new one, and it pulls my hair. So I really trully hope you find a good one to replace yours. Eric all ways wants to know why I don't just use the iron?

oh by the way, glad to see your blogging today. I thought for sure after the disaster that happened last night in san antonio you and caitlin would be in bed all day eating bon bons. Just kidding, that was a tough break:)

Hey Tara. You did good that is the one I use at the salon. So Im real proud you got it half off..but you have to be the decider if its good or not because if you like it than thats all that matters!

I love your new backdrop. It's sweet. I can't live without my straightener either. The eulogy really touched my heart. Now Trace needs to write a eulogy for the Suns.

GO DIAMONBACKS!!!

oh my dear, sweet Tara. I am so sorry to hear about your loss. I too said farwell to my Chi about 6 months ago, so I can feel your pain. I got a new one and it it pretty crappy. I am going to suck it up and buy another Chi because nothing else really compares. I wish you luck in your search for a replacement:)
