Mad cow???

Well over the weekend we had some more visitors! This time some peps from the Reidhead side were represented. My mom and dad came up for a visit because they were getting jealous that everyone else was getting to spend time with their favorite grandboy. It was great having them here. We went shopping (HOORAY) and got Brody and I some over-due new clothes. Then we also made a killer steal on a high chair. We went and looked at some at Babies R Us and the one I liked was $150.00. Um, no thanks...I choose life. Trace found pretty much the exact same one on the KSL classifieds. We went there, looked at it, and bought it for 1/3 the price!! Ya, we are pretty much amazing. Oh and we also went to TEXAS ROADHOUSE and watched the Suns vs. Spurs game. (Stupid freaking, freaking stupid SPURS.) We also went over to my aunt Dana's house and got to spend time with them for a while. I'm also upset that I didn't get any pictures of my dad OR of Dana and Gene and their family. Maybe I'll steal some from my mom's blog.
Anyway...here are some other pictures of the weekend.
This is Brody sportin the dolphin shirt that my mom and dad got for him down in Mexico.
Me making Brody laugh while my mom searches the classifieds.
GOOD MORNING!!! Nanna cuddling with her little boy.
Don't you just LOVE the new high chair? I know I sure do...and so does Brody. We also fed him some banannas. NOT his favorite.
Uncle Ryan sent up a couple cool toys for Brody. He loved the Super Man. I think Brody resembles Super Man in this picture. Check out those guns and killer 6-pack!!
On and little bit of a downer...Brody got these little bumps and blisters all over his wrists, legs, and mouth. At first I thought they were a reaction to the fertilizer that was on the grass. But then I got to thinking that when Ryan was little he used to put fertilizer in his boots cause one of his cousins told him that it would make him really tall. (Nieve little kid.) Anyway, he never got nasty blisters on his feet like that. So that theory was crossed out. After that- I really had NO CLUE. Anyway, come to find out he has "Hand Mouth and Foot Disease". (I should have been able to guess that...pretty darn self explanitory!) My dad has had something like that before....except I think it's called Foot n' Mouth Disease! :) It is also known as Mad Cow Disease. Anyway the doc said that it should go away in 7 to 10 days. You can't really see it very well in this picture but he has two on his lip. Poor little guy.
Brody also learned a new trick. He was doing it really well BEFORE I got the camera out...then of course it took some skillful convincing to get him to do it again.

Did they put him on an antibiotic? Oh, I want to squeeze him. Also, what a smartie! Do you think Max could wave his hand like that? Yea right, it weighs to much to lift! Ha!

Shut up! Bryson got the same freakin thing! That foot in mouth or actually isn't it hand in mouth?? I think that's it. But he had these little bumps in his mouth and he got them on his tongue. It sucked, he couldn't eat anything it hurt him so bad. Poor little guys. Hey umm yeah Lake Powell would be a great time!! Lets make it happen.

Poor kid! Hope he gets better soon. He seems like he is still a pretty happy kid even though he's not up to par. The wave is way cool!

Tara,
I thought you were avoiding me and you weren't going to do the tag:) You better do it. I had to pick you, trace and rustin because all three of you crack me up. I love reading your post. Do it, if not for the country do it for me:)
ok, that didn't make one bit of sense.

I'm glad no one commented on my foot in mouth disease. I have had it all my life, and though I have gotten big, I have never outgrown that foot in mouth syndrome. We certainly enjoyed our visit and Brody is quite the entertainer. It is amazing how much he has grown and how smart he is. Thanks for all you do for us. Love, dad
